Use Seemor in Claude

Connect in 3 steps

1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and find Seemor in the directory. Click Connect.
2. Sign in to Seemor or create a free account. Use Google, or enter your email and we'll send you a 6-digit code.
3. Approve access. You're taken back to Claude, connected. The first time Claude uses Seemor it may ask for permission. Allow it.

Can't find it in the directory? In Customize, then Connectors, choose to add a custom connector and enter this address: https://api.seemor.ai/api/mcp

Things to ask

• “Good Italian for dinner near South Kensington, nothing too pricey.”
• “Dinner for six in Soho, London. We need to hear each other talk, and one of us is vegetarian.”
• “Is Gasthaus Pöschl in Vienna worth it? What should I order?”
• “Somewhere good for ramen on my own in the East Village, New York.”
• “What are the best-graded places to eat around Trastevere in Rome?”
• “Does the second place have anything gluten-free, or should we look elsewhere?”

Name the neighborhood and the city. There are a lot of Sohos.

What's free

Seemor is free in Claude with a Seemor account. Each account gets 5 recommendations and 10 questions about a specific restaurant per day. Searching, looking up a restaurant and exploring an area don't count toward either. The count resets at midnight UTC. If you hit the limit, you can keep going in the Seemor app with the same account. There's no paid plan.

Where it works

Seemor covers over 70 countries and has catalogued over 2 million restaurants. More than a quarter of a million of them have been analyzed from their reviews, and those are the ones that get grades. Big cities have the most. Smaller towns can be thin, and some countries aren't covered yet. If Seemor doesn't have enough to go on, it says so.

What it can't do

• Book a table or tell you whether one is free.
• Visit anywhere. Nobody from Seemor has eaten there. Grades come from reading reviews and menus, and they can be wrong.
• Promise a price. Prices are estimates from menus and reviews, so check before you go if budget matters.
• Guarantee anything about allergies. Treat what Seemor says as a starting point and ask the restaurant.
• Keep up with every change. Opening hours and closures can lag behind.

Privacy

• Seemor doesn't see your conversation with Claude. It only gets what Claude sends when it uses Seemor, which is your request and the place you asked about.
• We keep a record of those requests for a limited time so we can find the answers we get wrong. How long, and what is kept, is set out in our privacy policy.
• Disconnecting in Claude stops new requests. To also end Seemor's access on our side or delete your data, email hello@seemor.ai.
• Your Seemor account holds your email and any preferences you set in the app. Recommendations take those preferences into account.

Disconnect

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, choose Seemor and click Disconnect. Claude stops sending requests to Seemor. Your Seemor account stays, along with your lists and preferences in the app. To delete the account as well, email hello@seemor.ai.
