Seemor is an AI-powered restaurant discovery platform operated by Larracos Labs LTD (Company No. 16781423), registered in England and Wales. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle your data. This policy complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Under UK GDPR, we process your personal data based on:

• Consent: When you voluntarily provide your email address for the waitlist
• Contract Performance: To provide the Seemor service when you create an account

• AI assistant connections: we answer requests your assistant sends us to perform our contract with you, and we run the free daily allowance, prevent abuse, fix faults and improve answers on the basis of our legitimate interests in providing a reliable, fair and useful service.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security measures. We use Supabase for data storage, which hosts data in secure data centers with appropriate physical and technical safeguards.

While we implement appropriate security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you of any data breaches as required by law.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience and analyze platform usage.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy:

• Waitlist Data: Until you request deletion or until we delete our waitlist records
• Account Data: Until you delete your account or request data deletion
• Analytics Data: Up to 26 months (Google Analytics default retention period)
• AI assistant request log: 90 days
• Recommendation requests (app and AI assistants): Kept in your request history until you delete your account or ask us to delete them
• Restaurant questions: The link between a question and your account is removed after 90 days, or sooner if you delete your account. The question and answer are kept without any link to you.
• Legal Requirements: We may retain certain data longer if required by law

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")

11. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States by Google Analytics, OpenAI and Anthropic. Where the recipient's country has no UK adequacy decision, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or on the UK-US data bridge where the recipient is certified to it.

Seemor is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

13. Mobile App Permissions

The Seemor mobile app may request the following device permissions:

Location

With your permission, the Seemor app uses your device location to find restaurants near you. It is used only for that, it is not sold, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites. You can turn it off anytime in your device settings and still use the app by choosing a city manually.

Microphone and Speech

If you use voice input, the app accesses your microphone to turn your speech into text so you can describe what you want. This uses Apple's speech recognition, and audio may be processed by Apple to perform the transcription. You can also just type.

Notifications

With your permission, the app sends a push notification when something you requested is ready, such as a completed analysis or recommendation. You can turn notifications off anytime in your device settings.

14. Seemor in AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT and others)

You can connect your Seemor account to an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, so that it can look up restaurants and ask Seemor for recommendations for you. You choose to connect and you sign in with a Seemor account (connecting creates one if you do not have one).

What we receive.

Only what the assistant sends when it uses a Seemor tool: your dining request, the place you asked about (a place name or map coordinates; if you ask for places near you, the assistant may send coordinates of where you are), a restaurant name, or a question about a restaurant. We also receive the email address you sign in with and basic technical data such as IP address. We do not receive, request or reconstruct your conversation with the assistant.

What we keep and for how long.

• A log of each request: which tool was used, when, by which account, whether it came through an AI assistant, whether it succeeded, and the request itself with any free text cut to 200 characters. We delete this log after 90 days.
• Recommendation requests: the full request and the list of restaurants we returned, linked to your account, so they appear in your request history in the Seemor app, so results can be reopened and so we can check the quality of answers. We keep these until you delete your account or ask us to delete them.
• Questions about a restaurant: the question and the answer, so the same question can be answered faster next time. Personal details are removed from a question before it is stored. After 90 days, or sooner if you delete your account, we remove the link between the question and your account.

Why.

To answer your request; to run the free daily allowance and prevent abuse; and to fix faults and improve our answers, which can include our team reading a sample of requests.

Who else processes it.

Our AI providers, OpenAI and Anthropic, process the text of recommendation requests and restaurant questions for us to produce the answer. Our hosting and network providers also handle requests. The AI assistant you connected is run by its own provider. What you say in that conversation is covered by that provider's privacy policy, not this one.

Your preferences.

If you have set taste preferences in your Seemor account, recommendations made through an assistant take them into account, so the order of results can reflect them.

Sensitive details.

If a request mentions an allergy, a medical diet or a religious dietary rule, we use it only to find restaurants that fit that request. You do not have to include such details.

What we do not do.

We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Your controls.

You can disconnect Seemor in the assistant's settings at any time. To also end Seemor's access on our side, or to access or delete this data, write to hello@larracoslabs.com. Your rights under "Your Rights Under UK GDPR" apply. Deleting your Seemor account deletes your recommendation requests.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of Seemor after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
