Taking a trip?

Seemor is built for the meals that matter most, and that's often when you're traveling. No more scrolling through 4.5-star tourist traps near the cruise port. Every city has a guide with top restaurants, best neighborhoods, and cuisine rankings.

The neighborhood pages are also one of the best ways to figure out where to stay. Clusters of highly-rated independent restaurants are a strong signal of what an area is actually like, far more reliable than hotel review sites. A neighborhood full of A-grade local spots has a very different vibe from one dominated by chains and tourist menus.

Your taste profile travels with you. Set your preferences once and they apply in every city.

What people are saying.

I am constantly spending way too much time reading reviews and trying to judge people's understanding of food. This solves that.

Raymond

Coming home from a family trip I am reflecting how much impact the restaurants we visited had on the memories we made. This is why I am excited about Seemor.

Erik

The "Will I like it" breakdowns are super helpful. Seemor is providing a crazy amount of information! I'm having a lot of fun tuning my profile before I ask it to find places I haven't been yet.

Frequently asked questions

How is Seemor different from Google Maps or Yelp?
Star ratings blend everything into one number — food, atmosphere, service, value — and half the reviews aren't even real. A 4.3 tells you nothing about whether a place is right for date night vs. a work lunch. Seemor analyzes thousands of reviews per restaurant and separates the signal: food quality, noise level, service speed, kid-friendliness, authenticity, value — 35+ dimensions, each scored individually. Every restaurant gets a review authenticity check — restaurants with clean reviews show a "Reviews look authentic" badge, and those with concerns are flagged with adjusted grades. Then Seemor matches those scores to what you're planning and what you personally care about. The result: an honest quality grade and a personal "For You" score — so you know if it's right for you before you walk in.
How does the "For You" score work?
Your "For You" score reflects how well a restaurant matches what you personally care about. It combines the restaurant's quality grade with your taste preferences — things like how much you value quiet atmosphere vs. buzzy energy, or outstanding food vs. great value. Two people can look at the same restaurant and see completely different "For You" scores. That's the point — your taste isn't average, and your recommendations shouldn't be either. The score gets more accurate as you set preferences and use Seemor. But even without preferences, it's useful — occasion defaults mean Date Night results are automatically weighted toward atmosphere and service.
What cities does Seemor cover?
Seemor covers 85+ cities across 25 countries, from London and New York to Lisbon, Athens, Vienna, Marrakech, and Tenerife. Every city has its own guide with top restaurants, best neighborhoods, and cuisine rankings. New cities are added every week. See the full list at app.seemor.ai/coverage. Your taste profile works in every city. Set your preferences once and they apply everywhere.
Can I share recommendations with friends?
Yes — multiple ways. Share a full recommendation and your group sees the top pick, all the alternatives, and the reasoning behind each one. You can even ask Seemor to include a diverse mix of cuisines and budgets so everyone in the group finds something they can agree on. You can also save restaurants to a list, where Seemor automatically compares them side by side — best value, best service, best ambiance, most kid-friendly. Share the list and everyone sees the same honest analysis.
What are "Restaurant DNA" dimensions?
Every restaurant is analyzed across 35+ measurable characteristics we call Restaurant DNA. These cover everything from food quality and consistency to noise level, service speed, kid-friendliness, parking, dietary flexibility, and authenticity. You don't need to know about any of this to use Seemor — the grade and "For You" score are enough. But if you want to dig in, it's all there.
How does Seemor make money?
We're still early and figuring out the right model. What we do know: every recommendation is based on analysis and personal fit — nothing else. That independence is the foundation the product is built on, and we intend to keep it that way.
